ปาร์ตี้เมื่อคืนสนุกมากๆเลยค่ะทุกคน ดื่มแชมเปญไปขวดนึง แดนส์กระจายกลางฟลอ แขกมากกันเยอะมากทั้งไทยฝรั่ง ฟิลิปปิน หลายสัญชาติ หลายประเทศมารวมตัวกันที่ปาร์ตี้ และเข้ากันได้อย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ อาหารอร่อยมากค่ะ ถ้าได้ลองนั่งอยู่ตรงนั้น คงจะนึกภาพฝรั่งหน้าเครียด แก้ม แดง เหมือนจะร้องไห้แต่ก็ไม่ร้องออกใช่มั๊ยคะ แม่นแล้ววววค่ะ หนึ่งในเมนูที่ทุกคนชี้ไปและสบัดมือเป่าลมออกปากกันไป ต่างบอกกันว่า เผ็ดๆๆๆๆ อิอิ ตลกดีค่ะ

แต่เมนูที่อร่อยที่สุดในงาน อืมมมม ชอบปลาราดซอสพริกค่ะ เผ็ดร้อนขอองจริง อร่อยมากๆ ท่ามกลางความหนาวเย็น ^_^ มีการแสดงรำไทยภาคต่างๆนบเวทีระหว่างที่ทุกคนพูดคุยและดื่มกัน อย่างไม่ลืมหูลืมตา แล้วมีรายการต่างๆขั้น ทั้งแจกรางวัล ร้องเพลง คาราโอเกะ โอ๊ยยยยยบรรยากาศอบอุ่นเป็นกันเองมากๆค่ะ

ขอขอบคุณผู้สนุบสนุน อาสาสมัครทุกคนนะคะ ถ้าไม่มีทุกคน คงไม่มมีงานปาร์ตี้สนุกๆแบบนี้เกิดขึ้น

I went this party with Auswathai's family last night.There were many people from Thailand and Australia and other countries.We had Thai food and Thai perfomance. All is from volunteers (thanks). I had fun a lot especially when everyone was dancing, chatting, taking photo, sharing experiences, drinking and eating Thai food. I hope There will have this kind of event every year. I had lots of fun wearing Thai costume and dancing with rock and roll music!!!

Thank you all volunteers and supporters, without you there is no party ka.

Diwali Festival Oct 2009 Thailand and West Australia

The festival of Diwali has been celebrated for ages and grows in attraction by the year. This year

the festival is celebrated on the 17th day of October 2009. This is an occasion for the young and the old, men and women, rich and poor – for everyone irrespective of their religious and economic background.

The festival is celebrated throughout the world to ward off the darkness and welcome the light into our lives and as William Shakespeare said “see yeah that light yonder so shines a good deed in a naughty world”. This festival is celebrated on a grand scale in almost all the regions of India and is looked upon mainly as the beginning of New Year. As such the blessings of Lakshmi, the celestial consort of Lord Vishnu are invoked with prayers.

Diwali is also celebrated outside India mainly in Australia, Barbados, Britain, Canada, Guyana, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America among the Hindus world over.

Thailand
Diwali is celebrated in Thailand under the name of Lam Kriyongh during the months of October-November. The festival has almost similar ways of celebration as that of Diwali. Diyas (lamps) made of banana leaves are made and candles are placed on it along with a coin and incense. These are set afloat on a river, which gives a wonderful view together on the water. The festival is not an extravagant affair. People greet each other and wish them happy returns of the day. Distribution of sweets is a common practice on this day.

Announcing Thai Festival Perth West Australia September 20, 2009

OVERVIEW
The Thai Festival Perth is a biennial event held by the Thai Festival Perth Inc and supported by The Royal Thailand Embassy - Canberra. The festival is an exciting event that caters to members of the local, statewide and international Thai community. In 2007, the one-day event attracted approximately 10,000 people. The festival was divided into various areas of interests that include live stage performances, Thai cuisine, product fair, Thai cultural exhibition, kids & entertainment corner and a beer garden. According to Perth MLA John Hyde, Northbridge traders reported an increase of business when the 2007 Thai Festival was held in the area and thanks to the support from the City of Perth the event was a great success.

The Thai Festival Perth 2009 aims to:


• Promote the Thai culture, food and lifestyle.
• Build a stronger relationship between the Thai community and the non-Thai community in Perth.
• Promote a diverse and multicultural environment in Perth.
• Promote Thai Tourism.

AREAS OF INTEREST


1. Main Stage Entertainment The main stage will feature various Thai cultural performances and band performances and the patrons will be able to witness the Official Opening Ceremony officiated by His Excellency Mr. Bandhit Sotipalalit, Ambassador of The Royal Thailand Embassy, Canberra.
2. Thai Cuisine Fair There will be approximately 30 food stalls on this section promoting an

array of Thai Cuisine and demonstration.
3. Thai Products and Tourism Fair This section will promote the different Thai products that are available in WA and holiday packages to Thailand.
4. Beer Garden (Licensed Area) The licensed area will be located next to the main stage entertainment area for patrons to enjoy famous Thai manufactured beer and enjoy the entertainment on stage.
5. Fun Corner This area will feature some traditional Thai games that the kids can participate in along with a few competitions and bouncy castle.
6. VIP Section The VIP section will be set up in a banquet style for the VIPs and Guest of Honour to enjoy their Thai inspired lunch right after the official opening ceremony.
